How do I export my Canvas courses?

Navigate to any Canvas LMS course page, click the Humanize AI extension icon in your browser toolbar, and click "Export". The extension will transfer your course materials to your humanizeai.pro account automatically.

Which Canvas content gets exported?

The extension exports course pages, assignments, syllabus, calendar events, module structures, announcements, and uploaded files. It only reads content you already have access to through your Canvas account.

Do I need to be logged in to humanizeai.pro?

Yes. You need an active humanizeai.pro session for the export to work. If you're not logged in, the extension will redirect you to the login page.

The export button is not appearing on my Canvas page.

Make sure you are on a Canvas LMS course page (usually hosted on *.instructure.com or your university's *.edu domain). The extension only activates on recognized Canvas domains. Try refreshing the page or clicking the extension icon in your toolbar.

My export is stuck or failed partway through.

Large courses with many files can take a few minutes. If the export appears stuck, try refreshing the humanizeai.pro import page and re-starting the export. If the problem persists, contact support with your course URL.

Can I export courses from multiple Canvas accounts?

Yes. The extension works with any Canvas LMS instance you are logged into. You can export courses from different universities or institutions to the same humanizeai.pro account.

How do I delete an exported course?

Log into humanizeai.pro, go to your courses list, and delete the course you want to remove. This will permanently remove the course content and all associated data from our servers.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS directly from your browser to humanizeai.pro. We don't route data through third parties, and the extension contains no tracking or analytics code. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The extension isn't working after a Chrome update.

Chrome updates can occasionally disable extensions. Go to chrome://extensions, make sure the Humanize AI Canvas Exporter is enabled, and try reloading the page. If the issue persists, try removing and reinstalling the extension.

Can I use the extension on browsers other than Chrome?

The extension is built for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). It is not available for Firefox or Safari at this time.
